Move Brings Together Two Strong Regions and Two Top Talents to Lead Combined Entity: Susan Gianinno Named Chairman & Andrew Bruce Named CEO of North America
NEW YORK, NY (December 10, 2013) – Publicis Worldwide, the largest agency brand of the Paris-based Publicis Groupe, today announced the creation of a new mega region, Publicis North America, combining two of the best performing regions in Publicis Worldwide and bringing together two top talents to lead the region. Publicis North America — comprised of Publicis USA and Publicis Canada — represents the largest Publicis region outside of France.
Susan Gianinno has been named Chairman of the newly expanded region, and will concentrate on key global and regional clients. She will also concentrate on priority global initiatives, working in partnership with Arthur Sadoun, recently named CEO for Publicis Worldwide.
Andrew Bruce has been named CEO of Publicis North America, which includes all Publicis offices across the USA and Canada. Bruce will also take on executive responsibilities for Publicis’ largest North America operation in New York, Publicis Kaplan Thaler. Bruce will relocate to New York in January.
Sadoun stated, “Both Susan and Andrew share and embody the founding values of Publicis: passion for innovation, an unwavering commitment to our clients and true entrepreneurial spirit. Under their respective leadership, Publicis USA and Canada have always been top performers for the network. In addition to these focused responsibilities, Gianinno will also be spending a portion of her time this next year at Harvard University, where she has been named a 2014 Harvard Advanced Leadership Fellow, a one-year Fellowship. Gianinno will do this in addition to her Chairman role and will reassume her full responsibilities at Publicis at the end of the Fellowship. She will continue to work out of the Publicis New York offices throughout 2014.

Gianinno joined Publicis in 2002 as Chairman and CEO of Publicis Worldwide in the USA, a position she has held since that time. She has also been a member of the PWW Comex and the Publicis Groupe Strategic Leadership Team.
Gianinno stated, “I’ve known Andrew since I joined Publicis USA and am thrilled to work with him in taking the regional network to new heights. This is a very exciting time for Publicis Worldwide in North America, as we continue to expand our resources and reach for our clients, while fostering new opportunities for our people.”
Bruce has been with Publicis since 1999, most recently as President and CEO of Publicis Worldwide in Canada. In Canada, Duncan Bruce is being elevated to the position of President. Duncan Bruce will lead Publicis Canada’s thriving Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Windsor offices, reporting in to the new North America Regional leadership. Duncan Bruce was most recently Creative Director for Publicis Canada.

PARIS, FRANCE (October 7, 2013) – Publicis Groupe announced today that it has named Arthur Sadoun as new CEO of Publicis Worldwide.
He will be joining the P-12, Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe, and will report to Maurice Lévy, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe.
“This appointment comes as a natural step in Arthur’s career path within our Groupe. He joined us as Chairman of Publicis Conseil, which he modernized while sustaining its growth and improving its creative work. Arthur also applied his vision and talents to Publicis Worldwide’s activities in France. Arthur will pursue the work begun by Jean-Yves Naouri aiming to make Publicis Worldwide the Groupe’s most performing network, while reinforcing the positioning “Lead The Change” which he initiated ” declared Maurice Lévy

Arthur Sadoun has spent half of his career at Publicis Groupe, and the other half at Omnicom Group. He has been President of TBWA Paris, elected under his direction Agency of the Year four years in a row at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. He joined Publicis Conseil in 2006 as Chief Executive Officer. In 2009, he was named Chief Executive Officer of Publicis France, and in 2011, Managing Director of Publicis Worldwide, alongside Jean-Yves Naouri, Executive Chairman, Publicis Worldwide. Publicis France was recognized Communications Group of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Bourges Waldegg Brings Multi-Cultural Experience & Aesthetic to All Things Digital at Agency
DALLAS, TX (July 18, 2013) – Publicis Dallas has hired Santiago Bourges Waldegg as vice president/digital creative director reporting to Shon Rathbone, executive creative director. Bourges Waldegg has worked on name brands in both the USA and Mexico, including Pepsi, Levi’s, Nissan and HP. He was most recently digital creative director at Dieste, a leading Hispanic agency headquartered in Dallas. He will work on all clients at the agency, which include recent win Bridgestone Americas, Terminix, TruGreen, CiCi’s, Nestlé Pure Life and Nestea, among others.
“Santiago brings a unique perspective and a depth of blue chip digital experience,” Rathbone said. “His passion and curiosity about the convergence of technology and culture is really great. I can’t wait to work with him.”
Bourges Waldegg’s experience bridges cultural boundaries. He was born in Mexico and worked for ARC/Leo Burnett there before transferring to the Chicago office. Subsequently, he joined Dieste in Dallas as digital creative director, working on campaigns that target the Hispanic market.
